Invitation to join our Board of Directors – Volunteer Opportunity
Dear Volunteer,
We are excited to share an important opportunity to help shape the future of Ralston Communities – a THRIVE Community, a nonprofit business dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing and fostering a thriving community.
Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding our mission, ensuring strong governance, and supporting the programs that make a real difference in the lives of our residents. We currently have an open volunteer seat in our start-up non-profit business and are seeking a passionate, committed individual to join us.
What We’re Looking For:

A belief in our mission and values

Willingness to contribute time, expertise, and ideas

Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of community leaders

Experience in housing, finance, community development, law, or nonprofit work (helpful but not required)
Board Member Commitment:

Attend regular board meetings (typically during our “Planning Phase,” 1-2 hours per month Online meetings and approximately. 1-2 hrs. per month in individual research if/when needed)

Participate in committee work and community events

Serve as an ambassador for our mission

Other titles/roles and opportunities will be available if so desired.

Our first meeting will be around the second week of August, as an unformal meeting and open forum to introduce the Director and answer/ask any questions that you may have. Please have your application submitted, by August 1, 2026.
We anticipate hearing from anyone that is interested. We also welcome those who are considered elderly, handicapped or underserved for this position.
