I am Tammy Sheets and I have been an administrator for home health care in Ohio for over 20 years. I love what I do every day and am given the opportunity to not only serve the underprivileged, seniors and disabled, but I am also their voice!
 

 

I began working with the elderly in 1986 and fell in love with the work, and the elders. Later in life, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and decided I wasn’t done learning. I then obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  I have spent many years offering hands on service, from starting a campfire group for the developmentally disabled to coaching special Olympics. I worked hard on the Welfare to Work Program to aid single mothers, even speaking in Washington DC in front of Congress.
 

 

 

My purpose in life is to serve those in need and help them live meaningful lives no matter what the need may be. In my geographic area the biggest need I continue to fight for is financial obstacles. People on fixed incomes are unable to live with dignity or “thrive.” I help them build a support system through private and public resources to improve their quality of life.
